Our Commercial Range
Every shed in the Ranbuild Covermaster range has been designed to give you the strongest, most reliable building possible. The galvanised steel framework provides strength and versatility not available in other building types. Couple this with lower cost compared to a custom made building and you have excellent value for money. With over 55 years experience in the Steel Shed Industry, Ranbuild buildings are well and truly tried and tested.
Industrial Buildings
We can cover almost any industrial requirement. Australia wide, there are Ranbuild workshops on mining sites, and production and storage buildings on vineyards, orchards, brickworks, timber mills and processing plants.
Size is no problem, just let your local Ranbuild team know your requirements; we can even solve your storage needs with load-bearing mezzanine floors as a standard option. We can provide light fibreglass reinforced or polycarbonate skylights and wall highlights to add natural lighting to work areas.
Special applications are usually no problem either. Rather than pay for a one-off custom building at a premium price, you’ll often find we can provide a lower cost alternative from our standard range.
Hangars
Ranbuild Hangars are the best possible choice for the protection of your light aircraft, no matter what the make or model. They are available with COLORBOND® or ZINCALUME® steel cladding and there are designs to suit any location.
Ranbuild Hangars include the unique, maintenance-free ‘wind lock’ sliding door system which is world-renowned for ease of use, reliability and security. If space is a problem, ask you local Ranbuild dealer about our unique internal wrap-around sliding door system.
Big or small, a Ranbuild Aircraft Hanger can be customised to protect any light aircraft. Modular construction allows you to choose any length. The design can also be adapted for aircraft maintenance workshops, with provision for offices, amenities and mezzanine floors for extra storage.
Standard options include personnel and vehicle access doors, insulation, skylights, wall lights, and ventilators.
Skillion Buildings
Ranbuild can cover almost anything on the land. Our unique and very popular range of Skillion Buildings are in high demand. Skillion or Monoslope buildings can provide all your workshop and storage requirements at low cost.
Shelters
Our industrial range can cover and shelter everything from community halls to exhibition centres and gyms. Schools, councils and commercial organisations Australia wide have used Ranbuild Shelters and they provide excellent cover and security for indoor sporting fields and courts. The Shelters can be insulated or fully lined to assist with air conditioning and sound attenuation.
Industrial applications include produce storage, equipment shelters, covered working areas and multiple bus, truck or car ports. With a Ranbuild Shelter, goods can be loaded and unloaded day or night. Large-span Shelters with added awnings or annexes provide additional cover at a lower cost.
Covered Outdoor learning areas
If you need protection from the elements, we have a range of buildings specifically engineered and designed to suit your needs. Unlike fabric covers that allow penetration of harmful UV rays, the Ranbuild Schoolmaster design provides solid shade and maximum shelter from the sun and rain.
Ranbuild Covered Outdoor Learning Areas (COLAs) come in a wide range of shapes and sizes with models suitable for small lunch areas or large playgrounds. All main structural members are fabricated from premium quality galvanised steel, fastened with high tensile grade 8.8 zinc plated bolts and nuts. Sub frame members are bolted between the main frames to prevent twisting and distortion under wind load.
Safety and security under cover are also important, particularly where children are involved. We have removed the potentially dangerous diagonal wall braces and replaced them with lateral braces high up the columns and out of harm’s way. Ranbuild COLAs also feature unique ‘folded edge’ column flashings to reduce the risk of contact with sharp metal edges.
Extra protection is available with the addition of curtain walls and gable infills. These low cost and functional additions provide a barrier from wind and driving rain.
